Actually, adults would long since have exited the thread, secure in the knowledge that it’s quite irrelevant what someone else says about them, especially someone they consider a child with little redeeming value.

The first couple times XT pitted me I ignored him. But he is such a kid I could not resist. I do not know why any one would pit someone. Let alone why XT thinks it is a device for improving his arguments. Of course it is the opposite.
