They turn ugly when they die. Hey, this is my fairy tale, don’t harsh on it.
O.k. that made LOL for reals.
She’s 6yo. Smart as a tack and feisty.
I laughed too.
DIL brought the granddaughters to get their Thing 1 and Thing 2 teeshirts I fixed for their Halloween costumes. When they walked in oldest girl says, “See, I told you she wouldn’t look like that picture. She looks like regular ol’ Nana!”
:smack:
Nope Beck, your avatar pic looks like a modern art depiction of North America to me
You’re right. I’m North America.
My tummy hurts.
Sorry, but that made me laugh.
Also, why do you send selfies to your family? I assume they already know what you look like.
I was just playing around.
That’s cool. I was just wondering. I have friends who do the same thing (send selfies) and I’m always wondering “Why do you send me these? I already know what you look like”
It’s such a cultural thing now. My kids their SOs and now granddaughter are snapping pictures all the time and swapping them. I get at least 3 pix a week of some food the lil’wrekker is eating. Her boyfriend sends me all sorts of pix. My DIL likes to take pix of people and then send them back to that person. She drives me batty doing it.
The lil’wrekker showed me how to get good pix with my phone and iPad. I’ve had fun playing with the editing tools.
It’s a crazy thing.
I’m sitting here trying to remember the last time I wore eye shadow. I got dressed up for a company Christmas party three years ago, but I’m pretty sure I just brushed some blusher across the creases. . .
Don’t let them harsh your vibe, Beck. It’s tough to soar like an eagle when you’re surrounded by turkeys.
But you haven’t told us why Mr. Wreckker is in trouble? Have I missed a story? Or was it the TP debacle?
Is it a cultural thing? My kids never send me selfies. And I don’t send them selfies.
Lets just say Big Wrek was less than appreciative of my pig shooting abilities the day of the pig-apocalypse. And, said so rather loudly.
Oh, he knows he’s in trouble. He’s laying low.
Seems like it is around here.
My kids are all real phone-centric. That may be the reason.
Your kids take pictures of themselves and send them to you? How old are they?
All adults. They take pix of themselves at a place or doing something interesting. They take pix of themselves and the kids. They take pix of everything. I get a dozen or so a day.
Example, I got a text from Son-of-a-wrek this morning. He dropped a tool at work and it landed on its end perfectly balanced on top of a can thing. And his goofy face in there with a thumbs up. He said in a million years that would never happen again. I didn’t get it, but he thought it was funny. So, yeah send it to Ma.
its gotta be a familial cultural thing. I’ve got maybe a double handful of the GrandVaderlings and the closest one lives about an hours drive away
which reminds me that I really need to get over there since Vaderling II Eldest bought a house without telling me
Maybe it is just us. IDK. My kids know my phobia about leaving the house alot. Maybe they’re just trying to include me.
Man, what a sad existence I live.
Take a screenshot of this gem, and print it out with enlarged type.
Preserve it for about 2 decades.
Then frame it, and give it to the grandkid.
