IT’s called Hank Watches Television. and at least some of the time, it’s about a gay bull named Hank, his transexual best friend Petunia the Pig, and their lives on the farm.
Other times, it’s just about whatever popped into my head that day.
It publishes seven days a week, and I think it’s keen.
Another one? C’mon, how many comic strips do we need with that exact same premise??
Ok, to be serious – I don’t know where the slowness issues are rooted, but I can’t get past the first comic. God’s words did make me chuckle, though.
Ok, second one just came up, and unfortunately, I was taking a sip of soda at the time. Messy, messy, messy.
I wanted to chime in and say that I am following your strip now. I like the Hank character, especially his expression. And I like the artwork quite a bit.
There have been quite a few strips that made me laugh out-loud, which to me is a great indicator.
So, MichaelJohnBertrand (and anyone else reading who might want to post a link to their art/creative work): we are almost always happy to let you advertise your own work, but you need to CHECK WITH A MODERATOR FIRST for permission. Please don’t make this mistake again.
At a practical level, moderators are quite busy. We go through and eliminate tons of spam each day. A post that says only “Go to this website to look at …” is pretty much assumed to be spam (advertising) unless there’s something to alert us that there isn’t. So you run the risk of having your post moved and your username being banned. Yeah, we could correct it later, but why put yourself (and us) through extra work and headache.
Uh, yeah. Sorry about that. I’ve sort of… left the premise behind a lot of the time. I’m probably going to rename the comic to something more generic at some point. I mean, Hank and Petunia will always be around, but the strip doesn’t really have a premise any more. Most of the time, it’s an open-premise strip with no set cast of characters. It’s like sketch comedy in comic form.
