What Cocktails contain broth or bullion or stock, expecially beef? What was the drink that Louise had requested on an episode of Bewitched, but Samantha could not make because she did not have a can of beef broth? I amy be misremembering bits of it, so please correct me if i am mistaken.
I was at my auntie’s and it was before dinnertime and she whipped out a bottle of something called “Beefamato.” It was like “Clamato” except with beef flavor instead of clam. I laughed at her a lot, but it was actually pretty good.
I expect that Beefamato, like Clamato, is marketed as a cocktail mixer, so I guess that it follows that there must be a beefy cocktail out there.
I know of one such cocktail, “beef and bull”
2 oz. beef bouillon
1 oz. bourbon
pinch of salt
strain through ice
garnish with a cucumber slice
*2 oz. Vodka
*4 oz. Beef Bouillon (Cold)
*1 tsp. Lemon Juice (Fresh)
*4 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
*Tabasco Sauce (To taste)
*Celery Salt (To taste)
*Pepper (Freshly ground and to taste)
Serve with ice in a highball glass
