#4 is Stone smoked porter with vanilla bean. It’s so crowded here that I can’t really make my own order. But this one is very tasty.
#5 is Captain Lawrence Pumpkin ale. This one sucks. Way too spicy with nutmeg, clove and cinnamon,
That one sucked so we downed it and got the Allagash White. Much better.
I’m done after 6. I really appreciate everyone’s advice. I had no idea that beer festivals were so freakin crowded and full of snobbery. It seemed like every attendee was a PHd in beer and basically forced their beers on you. My biggest mistake was my initial mention of not being a beer person. Since we ended up having a fairly large group, and we all ordered rounds, I had no ability to use your suggestions without creating some kind of controversy. I’m sticking to my tried and true whisky from now on. I can already feel the hangover coming on from the beer. Cheers.
