1 Miller Genuine Draft (I wouldn’t make an enemy drink Coors Light)
2 Henry Weinhard’s
4 Rolling Rock
5 Miller Light (Michelob Amber Boch is surpisingly good, but this is Michelob original, which is ass, while Miller Light is really surprisingly good…for a light beer.)

9 Killian’s Irish Red
10 Olympia
12 Stroh’s
Imports:
Modelo
6 Boddington’s
8 Guinness
12 Lowenbrau
Craft/Microbrew:
10 Anchor Steam Ale
2 Shiner Bock
3 Alaskan Pale Ale
4 Blue Moon Belgium White
There were some hard choices in this one. I had to pick Boddington’s over pick for overall winner. And Blue Moon vs. Fat Tire was hard as was Alaskan vs. Pyramid.
1 Miller Genuine Draft vs. 14 Coors Light
2 Henry Weinhard’s vs. 11 Yuengling
4 Rolling Rock vs. 8 Coors
5 Michelob vs. 7 Miller Light
Bargain Basement:
1 Schmidt vs. 15 Keystone Light
9 Killian’s Irish Red vs. 14 Hamm’s
10 Olympia vs. 13 Rainier
11 Schafer vs. 12 Stroh’s
Imports:
Modelo vs. 16 Grolsch
6 Boddington’s vs. 14 Bass Pale Ale
8 Guinness vs. 13 Dos Equis
10 Molson Canadien vs. 12 Lowenbrau – toughest choice of the round, both are decent
Craft/Microbrew:
1 Widmer Hefenweizen vs. 10 Anchor Steam Ale
2 Shiner Bock vs. 8 Deschutes Mirror Pond Ale
3 Alaskan Pale Ale vs. 6 Pyramid Hefenweizen
4 Blue Moon Belgium White vs. 5 New Belgium Fat Tire
1 Miller Genuine Draft
2 Henry Weinhard’s
4 Rolling Rock
5 Michelob
No more Cinderellas here, though Yuengling’s Round 1 moment of glory over Buttwiper will live forever. Where does Yuengling come from, anyway? I’m surprised there would be a best seller I’ve never heard of.
Bargain Basement:
1 Schmidt
14 Hamm’s
13 Rainier – a narrow pick over its Washington rival
11 Schafer
Imports:
16 Grolsch
14 Bass Pale Ale
8 Guinness
10 Molson Canadien
Craft/Microbrew:
10 Anchor Steam Ale
8 Deschutes Mirror Pond Ale
6 Pyramid Hefenweizen
4 Blue Moon Belgium White
Having to pick between Anchor and Widmer Hef nearly made me cry.
Bargain Basement:
9 Killian’s Irish Red (Killian’s is basement?! At $7.09 a sixpack?!)
Imports:
Grolsch (As much as I like Modelo’s Negro, Grolsh has an awesome Amber)
6 Boddington’s (Nitrogen wins this one hands down)
3 Dos Equis (Gotta represent south of the border. Guinness is overrated.)
10 Molson Canadien vs. 12 Lowenbrau
Craft/Microbrew:
10 Anchor Steam Ale (As much as I love a good Hefe, Anchor Steam is GOOD!
2 Shiner Bock (it would have gone to Deschutes had it been their Black Butte Porter)
New Belgium Fat Tire (one of my first favorites, although I’ve grown apart from the toasted malt).
1 Miller Genuine Draft (does Coors Light evev count as a beer - tastes like carbonated water to me)
2 Henry Weinhard’s
4 Rolling Rock
5 Michelob
Bargain Basement:
1 Schmidt
9 Killian’s Irish Red
10 Olympia
12 Stroh’s
Imports:
Modelo
14 Bass Pale Ale
13 Dos Equis
10 Molson Canadien (since Nash can’t win let’s at least toss a little love to our northern neighbor in this contest)
Craft/Microbrew:
10 Anchor Steam Ale
2 Shiner Bock
3 Alaskan Pale Ale
5 New Belgium Fat Tire
Yuengling is a very good domestic mass produced option. I’ve not had Weinhardts that often but from what I recall of it I rate Yuengling higher. It’s a Pennsylvannia beer, actually in several different styles, but there is a brewery here in Tampa and it’s taken on a sort of local status.
Modelo (I’m voting for Negro Modelo, which is definately much better than Modelo)
Boddington’s
Guinness
Molson Canadien
Craft/Microbrew:
Anchor Steam Ale (This is *the * beer by which I judge all competitors to the throne)
Deschutes Mirror Pond Ale
Alaskan Pale Ale
New Belgium Fat Tire (If Blue Moon, you might as well go with Hoegarden)
