Beer!

To a point. On the other hand, some people try these new styles and find they really love them. I mean I don’t think anyone gets fooled by Stone’s Arrogant Bastard, you know it’s going to be a very hoppy IPA. But it still sells very well.

That’s because Arrogant Bastard is a supremely tasty brew!

They lose me when they make Double Bastard. That’s just showing off. Nobody drinks that beer because they like it. They drink it to show how hairy their ball sack is.

I drink a lot of beer. Too much maybe. My current favorite is Dos Equis in the green bottle. I’ve tried about every style of beer and definitely do not care for stouts, ales or IPAs. Lager is fine for me and I’m past the point of wanting to try other styles.

I for one welcome our new session beer overlords.

When is a real “session” beer going to become a fad? I mean the kind that is tasty but say 3% alcohol? It gets my panties in a twist when someone clocks in a 4.99% ABV and claim it’s a “session” beer.

Sheesh, the English figured out milds, “ordinary” bitters and even stouts with octane ratings closer to 3% than 4%. Why can’t we Make American Beer Great and do that on this side of the pond?

Love it.

I still appreciate the “exotic” stuff, but local suds are fine… Whatever you’re having!
