The idea is to make as long as a chain of phrases and compound words as possible, by taking the second half of the previous poster’s and using that as the start of a new word. For instance:

Baby rattle: rattlesnake: snake oil: oil well: well- … um …

If nobody can figure out something short that starts with “berries”, go back to “goose”. Right?
