Before they were SD'ers

I worked as a secretary in a law office when I was 16 for the summer.
I worked one or two times at local department stores on those “cattle call” style inventory things.
From the time I was about 8 to 16 I worked every year as a table server at the ACLU annual banquet.
I did telemarketing for a month. That SUCKED.
I worked as a Pizza Hut delivery driver, and later at a different store as a waitress.
At 18, I worked for Olan Mills delivering “Club Plans”–this entailed me driving all over Phoenix late at night (til about 11pm) delivering a little folder and picking up money–usually cash–from strangers. Often in very bad neighborhoods. Not only that, but I had to go into their houses, because my job required that I call the office from the house to get my next address. Once, I thought I was in a pretty bad one, it was all run down trailers with cars on blocks everywhere and piles of metal odds and ends in everyone’s yards. The trailer I went to had about 3 viscious looking Rottwielers and two biker-looking guys. The clock was busted up and when I asked why, making idle conversation, they said they’d gotten drunk and shot it. YIPES! Well I got my next assignment on the phone, and as I had only lived in town for about 3 months, I asked these guys where it was. THEY got all concerned and said THAT was a bad neighborhood, and offered to let me take one of the Rottwielers with me! Did I mention I had my head shaved, so I wore a long blonde wig to work? hehehe.

I worked at a gas grill & light store doing inventory and office work.
I worked for about 3 months or less at a McDonald’s. Ugh.
I worked for 4 years as a topless dancer.
I’m currently self employed as a web designer and a stay home mom.

beatle: I’ve only been floral delivery sidekick.I didn’t drive then.My grandmother had a flowershop. I would deliver within the nearest 5-10 blocks by foot, usually some last minute deal for the day.Yup, seen those coffins too.
