I guess I should call my mother sometime soon and tell her I am coming down on Monday and going in the hospital on Tuesday.
I’m bummed that Monday is a holiday and the dump will probably be closed and I have a bunch of recycling to take there.
I have got to get past the guilt of throwing stuff in the trash that can be recycled there that can’t be recycled here. This county is like the dark ages of recycling. I have to get over it and hope one day we catch up to the rest of the world.
I need to go to the bank too and I found out there are no BoAs around here. The closest one is in Frederick. The surprise $100 I got was a MO not a check and I can’t deposit it by taking a picture of it with my phone. I’m pretty sure I can deposit it through the ATM though, I hope. Otherwise I’ll have to wait until the branch is open and go inside.
I have to remember to refill my prescription while I am down there too. Every time I try to refill it I get the message that it’s too soon, Fortunately I still have a previous prescription around because the Dr wrote the script for the wrong number of pills and I would have run out by now.
I need some breakfast and to finish waking up.
We’re still below freezing. I am not amused.
One of the days when it was snowing I saw a big fat cat crawl under my shed. I was surprised that big fat body fit under there.
Sah-son just saw two cats coming out from under the shed. I hope this doesn’t mean there will be kittens under the shed.

Mission accomplished. The chair is now in its new home. JDD’s mom is well pleased. She enthroned herself upon it when we brought it in. 
It’s the kind with the handle on the side so it’s easier to adjust one’s position.
Also, whilst we were gone, the terlet in the master bedroom here at da cave decided to act up. The innards kinda fell apart. Not surprisin’ cause the innards were old. Anywho, OYKW went to Lowe’s and got new innards and got the terlet fixed whilst JDD and I were furniture deliverin’. OYKW is now also known as “Butch The Plumber.”
We should keep up the bee puns. Some of them can be real honeys.

It’s nearly -40 here. But I went out to the store anyway and bought some beer* and some icing. And had some coffee.

Interview thing does not appear to be excessively scammy- it’s not commission, and though there may be a little bit of sales, that’s not the main point. Dunno if anything will come from it, as ever.

I got chores done around the apartment this morning and even did a minor plumbing job of my own: I unclogged the bathtub drain. Now it’s time to go out into the balmy 54F day and shop for groceries.
I have a credit union account but they are not convenient.
I have an M&T account as well because my last boss paid us with M&T checks and I wanted to cash rather than deposit them since so many of them were rubber.
M&T charges $10 for non account holders to cash a check.I worked with people who thought nothing of paying $10 to cash a check, damn if I’m giving some bank $520 a year to cash my checks.
