My boyfriend suggested that I post my latest achievement in one of the few things that I do well - puzzle/tetris-like games. All of my high scores in Bejeweled’s ‘action’ section are all around 1,000,000.
This is what I do instead of studying or doing homework…shakes head
then goes to play more Bejeweled.
That’s right, folks. She’s a machine.
I used to try to compete with her in such games… I made my way up the ladder… 5,000 pts. - then 10,000! - but after turning the game over to her for no more than an hour, she would beat my score several fold, knocking my scores off one by one.
Then she’d beat my scores into the ground, and making a spot on the Top Ten Score list just out of my grasp.
And then she’d beat her own scores into the ground. Her lowest score in bejeweled 2 is over a million. She clears lower levels in a single move. Her speed bends spacetime.
Behold! With awe and amazement, I say: this is my girlfriend. 
Holy crap. In Bejeweled 2, I can score consistently in the 300,000+ range. The record in the house is around 600,000 or 700,000 pts, I think. I can’t even contemplate doing a million. Kudos to y’all!
In Bejeweled 2 the scoring is different between the Classic game and the Action version. My highest score in Classic is 326721, having gotten to the 24th level. My score in Action averages a bit below that when I manage to get to the 7th level. Yes, I’m not very fast in Action. :o
