Belgian Mobile Phone Advice

My company will be soon be sending some folks to Brussels for a few weeks. Our US-only mobile phones / PDAs will be useless over there, so we’re going to be getting local PDA devices & local service accounts.

I’m looking for advice on which carrier(s) serve the Brussels area and have good signal coverage. At least over here, some carriers provide very marginal service in some cities & we’d like to avoid falling into that trap. Our interest is more for data (email & internet) than voice.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I Googled & come up with 3 carriers, Proxima, Base, and I forget the 3rd name, but some personel hands on experience would be darn helpful.

Anyone?

Bump. C’mon somebody ??

Moving this to IMHO for informed opinions.

I think the third is mobistar. When I lived over there I only had a land line, so no great info here, but keep in mind that it’s a small, urban, dense country. Also if anything I think Europe is MORE into their cell phones than us (if you can believe it) so any of the three is probably perfectly fine. Especially in Brussels and the surrounding area-- with all the banking and political stuff there I suspect that it’s especially fine. In Dinant or Veurne maybe not so much, but Brussels should really be covered.
