- Hit
- Walk
- Hit batter
- Dropped third strike
- Force play
- Fielder’s choice
- Pinch runner

A force play is a fielder’s choice.
However, not all fielder’s choices are force plays.
And the column was about getting to first base WITHOUT hitting the ball.
You also forgot about reaching first base on catcher’s interference.
