We had a tie in 2010, so there are six choices here.
Hard choice. Gotye and Mumford & Sons are probably going to have more staying power in the long run, but I’m going with Arctic Monkeys because it’s a better song to rock out to.
Phoenix is my favorite off this list.

Personally, I think Team is the better song by Lorde and I would have voted for it if it were an option. But, as it is I voted for Little Lion Man.

“Royals” won my vote, with “Little Lion Man” finishing dead-ass last.

I had to go with Foster the People. Love the song, love the band.
I prefer “I am Lorde! Ya Ya Ya!” 
Never heard the Arctic Monkeys song, and didn’t know they’ve done much (in the US) this decade. Avoided Foster the People for a long time because the name sounds like some shitty jam-tribal band, although I think I like that song best now that I’ve heard it. You have to admire the “audacity” of hiding dark lyrics in secret places like “the chorus,” yet many people seem unaware.
