Best #1 single of the decade: The 2010s (so far)

Almost forgot to put this one up today. My bad.

This is the final semi-final that will decide what songs get to compete for the honor of Official SDMB-Approved Greatest #1 Jam Of All Time. The decade’s only half-over, so we just get five songs to pick from, but what a set of songs it is.

Make sure you vote in any remaining best-of polls before Tuesday morning when the final poll will go live.

Hard time choosing between Tik Tok and Somebody That I Used to Know. Went with Gotye because it seemed just a bit more awesome.

I like these choices. Went with Royals, but could’ve went with any of the others.

Did not hesitate to vote for Pharrell.

A couple of good choices but Gotye was my pick.

Gotye w/ Kimbra - Somebody That I Used To Know is the clear winner for me and I’m stunned that it’s only 3rd so far.

Williams and Lorde (in that order) are the runners up.

Adele’s song is ok.

TiK ToK on the clock, but the party don’t stop, no.

As one of four #1 songs ever to get a perfect score in the world-famous Ponch8 Music Rating System (the others being “Right Round,” “We R Who We R,” and “Timber,”) my vote obviously goes to Kesha’s “TiK ToK.”

Consolation prize for best non-Kesha song goes to “Royals.”

“Happy” finishes in dead-ass last place. It’s not horrible, but I just don’t like it.

I voted for Gotye, but don’t mind that Royals is leading the poll
