He speaks truth. Putting beer in cans is not a nice thing to do to it.
But anyway…I don’t know if you can get it in Wisconsin, but Yeungling lager in a can is decent enough. Sapporo is good, as JuanitaTech says. Foster’s ESB (in the green can, not the lager in the blue) is good also if you can get a fresh batch, which is hard.
In an absolute pinch, I’ve been known to drink MGD, when no good beer was available (at a fair in Texas).
All that said, can’t you get some bottled beer and pour it into plastic cups?

Best beer in a can?
The one in front of me.
(Personally, I always go with what’s on sale…unless you want some syrupy goop that smells like Pub farts, stick to the $3.99 per six pack rule.)

**Grolsch in cans is actually the non-export stuff! Don’t be faked by the beautiful flip-tops, they’re export. As skot says, the cans are the way to go, if you can find them. **
Its available up here at COSTCO of all places!!
That’s what I came in here to say. Especially the Sapparo in a GIANT CAN. We call them “thirsty boys,” and we call them tasty, too.

I’ve never seen Narragansett since I moved to Chicago from the East, but in case they have it in Madison, WI, I think it’s great beer in a can.
Boddington’s makes a pub draft in a yellow can (like the Guinness, except it’s an amber). Foster’s is good, too.
Hawthorne –you can get Bass in a can?
I gotta stop by the liquor store tonight…
Since you’re in Wisconsin, you might try Leinie’s. I’ve never had their beer in a can, but I’m a sworn devotee to most of their bottled stuff.

Excellent idea! I second Boddington’s in the can. You could pour it into plastic glasses instead of drinking it out of the can.
May I suggest two beers from the Great White North?
“Big Rock Traditional Ale”, and
“Rickard’s Red”.
Both of those are awesome. For a lighter beer, I recommend Kokanee Gold.

Tecate in cans. Cheap, good, and easy drinkin’ – good for a hot tub. (Guinness? vomits in terror )
