Why? To tell me that I’m wrong when I consider the taste of good spring water as different from tap water as night and day? Did you read my comment about my reaction to unknowingly taking a swig of tap water out of a spring water bottle?
What I will grant is that good multi-stage water filters that include at least a quality reverse osmosis system and activated carbon can produce passably decent drinking water, especially when the water is cooled, but Og save me from drinking tap water! I’m also aware that some water bottlers are actually selling filtered water which is rather a ripoff, but water labeled as “spring water” around here must actually be from a spring, and an analysis must be provided on the bottle.
Good point. Clearly the Évianais are actively protecting the purity of their Precious Bodily Fluids. Unfortunately, we do not know if this heralds a coming reversal of the Treaty of Turin and a nuclear outbreak of the Thirty Years’ War and Kappelerkriege.
