A group of friends has been “getting together” on-line to watch movies at the same time and chat about them. We’d like to watch something featuring Chadwick Boseman. What do y’all recommend?
Best/Great movie is a plus, of course.
Free/cheap on-line is a plus (we all have netflix, some have other services)
Not Black Panther is a plus, since most of us have seen it.
I enjoyed 42, About Jackie Robinson.
He was fine in it but I have to say I was underwhelmed by the movie. It was very good in parts. I thought Soul of the Game was a better treatment of the subject.
I thought he was excellent as Jackie. I also enjoyed the movie quite a bit.
I felt it was a bit melodramatic and Harrison Ford was playing a cartoon character. Nothing wrong with Boseman’s portrayal.
