For my money, I’m goin’ with Spike Spiegel & Faye Valentine from the anime series Cowboy Bebop. What an awesome love/hate vibe, and DAMN the Japanese for their unresolved tension endings!

Or how 'bout House & Cuddy from House? Put those two within hollering distance of each other and I just about faint. For a while it looked like the writers were going to take it somewhere, but I’ve about decided that idea (if indeed it existed) has been shelved.

And last, but definitely not least… one word. Gelphie. If you don’t know… you don’t want to. :smiley:

There are those who don’t acknowledge certain seasons of The X-Files the way some of us don’t acknowledge more than 3 Alien moves or the existence in any way of a Star Trek movie between Voyage Home and Undiscovered Country. I’m assuming this is one of those situations.

It’s possible they mean that Mulder and Scully never really seemed to be a couple on screen.

And of course there were only three Alien movies… Alien, Aliens and Alien: Resurrection. I wonder why they didn’t call the third Alien movie Alien 3?

I always thought it would be interesting to introduce Scarlett O’Hara to Heathcliff (the character from Wuthering Heights, not the cartoon cat). Naturally, it would be Vivien Leigh’s version of Scarlett and Laurence Olivier’s version of Heathcliff.

I’ve only seen the movie, but I always felt that the sisters in Sense and Sensibility ended up with the wrong men. Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman - grrrowl!
