Best fight scene

Yo, J.B., when you’re finished using my brain, please remember to replace it back in my head…gonna need it for work tomorrow…
These two fight scenes were the exact ones that immediately came to mind even before I opened this thread.

…although I kinda liked the scene in The Warriors where Swan and Ajax beat the crap outta those freaky Baseball Furies with bats. Yeow!

For the funkiness factor, I’ve got to go with scenes from The Bride With White Hair or The Crippled Masters.

Ooh, gunfights? Hard Boiled, Chow Yun Fat vs. everybody, either in the warehouse or the hospital.

or

Face/Off the shootout in the drug dealers house.

and

The entire storming of the beach in Saving Private Ryan.

Another vote for True Romance - one for best fist fight - Patrica Arquette, and best gun fight - final scenes.

Best gun-fight.

I’d have to go with Resevoir Dogs (pick a scene). But the top was Steve Buschemi whirling on the cops as he was stealing the car and popping off some caps. Sure it was quick, but then most gun-fights in real life are. That’s what made it chilling.

Best one i’ve ever seen, Darker Than Amber-1970. Rod Taylor and William Smith, its a classic.

There is an excellent fight scene on the TV show The Practice. It was on a couple of seasons ago and it has one of the main lawyers, Eugene, attacking a child molestor in court and he totally kicks the guys ass before anyone could pull him off of the guy.

Tyrone Power (Zorro) vs. Basil Rathbone (the evil Capitan) in The Mask of Zorro

A mechanically enhanced Sigourney Weaver versus the Alien Queen. You can’t really call it martial arts, but it’s undeniably cool.

Actually, I was going to vote for the earlier fight, when he and John Goodman are fighting in the trailer. They’re busting the place up, cereal is flying, and Hi loses the upper hand when he raises his arms to give a death-chop and scrapes his knuckles on the low textured ceiling. Meanwhile, the Gale’s little brother is hiding in the bathroom with the kidnapped baby. It’s a keeper.

Actually, that’s the scene I was thinking of.

Sorry, got my fights mixed up.
