Best Guns n' Roses song of all time?

That would be “Why don’t you just…FUCK OFF!”

I coincidentally wore my Guns & Roses t-shirt today!

Rocket Queen, Mr Brownstone a close second.

Rocket Queen is great, they should have taken the last part of that song and made a separate song out of it.
Slight hijack, does anybody hold out any hope that A: Chinese Democracy will ever come out and it won’t suck or B: The mostly original lineup will ever reunite?

“Civil War” with “Rocket Queen” a close second for me.

“Breakdown” is my favorite followed by “Estranged.”

Reading this thread has rekindled my GnR interest.

Didja know:

-There is BANJO on Use Your Illusion II? I heard it on “Civil War” (man that’s a great song), and it’s also on Estranged. Apparently it’s Slash that plays Banjo.

-Axl sang a song with Don Henley on his 1989 Album The End of The Innocence.

-Axl appears on 3 tracks of the 2007 Sebastian Bach album Angel Down, including one he co-wrote. 2 of them are pretty good.

Am I the only one who likes “Locomotive”?

But “Mr. Brownstone” and the acoustic “You’re Crazy” are great too.

What, no love for “Welcome to the Jungle”?

It’s simple, it’s straightforward, and it kicks your ass so hard you spin around and then it kicks you in the balls. Big props for “Mr. Brownstone” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” but “Welcome to the Jungle” is as perfect a bang-your-head rock song as has ever been recorded.

I know for sure what the WORST Guns 'N Roses song is: “November Rain.” God, I hate that song.

I can’t imagine it would be any good, but according to Wiki, its still coming out, and as part of a trilogy with album three released in 2012

Sure, but that answer is too easy, like answering “Stairway to Heaven” for favorite Zep song. Dig deeper.

It may be easy, but Welcome to the Jungle will have my Great-Grandkids throwing devil horns.

Honourable mention to One in a Million, even though most folks get their undies in a twist over a few words, and don’t listen to the song. Don’t Damn Me is pretty kickass, and (imho) has always been a response to the people who didn’t understand One in a Million.

I think I’d pick either Breakdown or Locomotive. In fact, their best album is Use Your Illusion II. From Chinese Democracy (from the leaked stuff anyway), the only song I really love is Better which ranks right up with the Use Your Illusion era songs.

After five or six drinks there’s no topping Nightrain.

As far as Chinese Democracy, there seems to be a lot of leaked stuff, some from concerts but some studio stuff too. My picks: Better, I.R.S., Chinese Democracy, Crash Diet, and Shadow of Your Love (old Hollywood Rose song).

They need to hurry up and release the damn album.

I own everything G ‘n’ R ever put out and am a huge fan, but Sweet Child was the first thing that went through my head when I saw the thread title so I’m going to have to go with that.

Before y’all throw brickbats at me, though, I should probably say that when I see “favorite Beatles song” I think I Wanna Hold Your HAAAaaaaaannnnnnnd".

If you look at the lyric sheet, sure. But if you try to do it just as he says it you really get something more like:

Wanchoo jus…Fuckoff!
