Curious what peoples favorite GnR song is.
My vote is for Civil War. I have loved that song ever since I first heard it. A close second is Welcome to the Jungle.
This is one of the few bands who consistently released good songs to the radio. Very few bad songs by them on the radio. In fact, the only one I cannot stand is November Rain, and mostly because I have heard it so many times.
Worst GnR song: Get in the Ring.
It has to be “Sweet Child O Mine”.

Welcome to the Jungle! Please, it’s the quintessential GnR song (despite the fact I’m pretty sure I misspelled “quintessential”).
Sweet Child O’ Mine may be nice, but come of…for true Guns N Roses, nothing beats the Jungle!

I know what you’re all saying, Sweet Child O’ Mine is great if you’re in that sort of mood, and Welcome to the Jungle is certainly classic G ‘n’ R, but they’re not the best.
The best is Night train.
Mr Brownstone is underrated, but Welcome to the Jungle is still the best. Especially that time when I saw them live in London, with the flame throwers and fireworks… By the way, is anyone going to any of their concerts in the US? I was considering flying over to New York to see them at Madison Square Gardens, but the concert sold out within 15 minutes. And it was a ridiculous and ruinous idea anyway.
Can I just plug my ears during the silence and pretend that Appetite For Destruction is one song?

Jungle and Sweet Child are classics, but I dunno, maybe I’ve heard them too many times by now.
I love to play Patience and November Rain, (which has a great, great guitar solo, IMHO), and even Paradise City and Yesterdays.
I love to listen to Sweet Child of Mine, Welcome to the Jungle and You could be mine.
Nightrain is the best if you’re drinking. Of course all GnR songs benefit from a little liquor.
I like Welcome To The Jungle, Mr. Brownstone, and Patience, in that order. Never cared to much for Sweet Child Of Mine.
Paradise City is the best song I have ever heard played at volleyball matches during warmups…good strong beat and the players tend to sync their hits with it.
They came out with some really good music - hard to pick just one song.

Though personally, I’ve always been fond of Mr. Brownstone, though I wouldn’t call it their best.
I’ll throw in another vote for Rocket Queen, but I think Welcome to the Jungle is what they will be most remembered for.
Patience is my favorite I’d say but its hard to pick the best one.
