Best horror MST3K

Not to mention Martin Sheen’s skeevier brother, Joe Estevez!

Thas abbasalutely fasunating. . .

Thuurded for Wurrwilf.

…the lesser Estevez.

From my very limited experience: Pod People. “It’s not about pods. It’s not about people. It’s about pain…”

I have to agree with this. Creepy and surreal flick with an incredible density of high quality jokes.

For more Joe, there’s also Soultaker, which I had seen on TV about 7 years before the MST3k version. We made fun of it then too.

“The SOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULTakerrr!”

Can’t go wrong with Devil Doll. Evil ventriloquist dummies have haunted my nightmares since childhood.

Glad to see you’re going with Warwilf. Great episode.

What I love about that movie is that for the first 20 minutes or so it’s a serviceable vampire plot, with reasonably good effects. Not great, but considering it’s a Mexican movie from 1962 it wasn’t bad. Then, as you said, Santo arrives and it’s all downhill from there. And it’s not so much that the plot makes any less sense but that having a silver-masked Mexican wrestler is just so weird.
