Which MST3K Epsiode should I watch next?

First off, I have a limited amount of choices. Here’s what I have to choose from:

Werewolf
Tormented
Swamp Diamonds
The Indestructible Man
Ring of Terror
It has to be between those five, because those are the only ones I have access to that I haven’t seen. So everybody, answer my question but please feel free to highjack the thread to all things MST3K related.

I vote for The Indestructible Man. I can’t say I’ve seen the MST3K episode, but I remember watching the original movie on the Moona Lisa Show as a young lad.

I vote for Werewolf. Or, as the female lead pronounces it, “whuereuwalf.”

Whichever episode includes the fan letters where the woman writes in to complain about the use of the word ‘dickweed’, after which the word is used extensively for the rest of the episode. :stuck_out_tongue:

p.s. I have been looking for that episode for years. If anyone knows what it is, I would love to know

Definitely Werewolf. No question.

“Oh no, not THINGS again!”

“And what a mood it was!”

“Oh…if I could just fart!”

…among a host of other gems. Plus the final credits “TUSK!” singalong.

I think you are referring to Rhino

ETA: Taomist, I think Rhino is the episode that originated the letter, not the one where they made fun of the letter.

Ahaha, thank you so much! It’s a start, anyway; I guess I really should have looked harder on the WEB…last time I did an active search, Google was a dream, Dogpile wasn’t much use and I just didn’t know enough people on enough message boards to get close to an answer.
Thanks! At least now I can postulate that it’s an episode AFTER Rhino.

p.s. Any newscaster describing any politician as a ‘diplomat of dickweed proportions’ would have my undying love.

Werewolf is my favorite episode (maybe tied for favorite with Space Mutiny), so I have to recommend that one. I just watched Tormented a few days ago actually, and it was a really good one as well. I haven’t yet seen the other three on your list, but they’re in my Netflix queue.

Agreed, that one is pretty funny.

The order in which the OP listed them is the order I recommend for viewing. “Wurwilf” is the funniest both in the movie and the host segments (Where, O Where is my werewolf?).

There are two episodes I’ve seen that I have no idea what their titles are.

I just recall one thing out of each episode and would love to see them again. If someone can tell me the titles of the episodes, I’d be most grateful (and the OP might get a laugh out of them as well!)

Ep 1: They were making fun of shorts and this one had a native in a “dress” and a guy with a a bear (cub?) and I think he was in a tree. I think this guy was supposed to be in the Everglades and dressed sort of like Tarzan. Just cracked me up; it’s been over 10 years since I saw it and so my memory is vague on the details.

Ep 2: Crooooooooow and Servo are doing the Ole and Sven joke about Schlitz Beer.

The first short was “Catching Trouble” starring Ross Allen.

The second one was “The Day the Earth Froze.” I think.

Catching Trouble was one of two shorts from Episode 315: “Teenage Caveman.”

And the Schlitz Beer Joke (By Ingmar Bergman) was actually Episode 617 “The Sword and the Dragon.” I regret the original error.

Watch the one with Mr. B Sharp!

Thanks, Hypno-Toad!!

Mr. B Natural. That’s in “War of the Colossal Beast” which is a great flick in itself.

Tormented, for the classic disembodied head shrieking “Tom Stewart killed me!”

And, “Hey, I can’t see my house from here.”

Future War was a personal favorite of mine. Not sure about the actual name of the episode, but that’s the film shown (probably the worst movie I’ve ever seen). As I’m sure you know, that makes it a pretty entertaining episode.
