Best looking recent cars?

Inspired by the ugliest cars thread, this is a thread for beautiful cars. However, in the interest of limiting the field, I think we should just include cars manufactored in the past 20 years. If you want to do a classic car thread, go make one, this ain’t the place for your 69 mustangs.

Personally, call me crazy, but I love the (now no linger made) Plymouth Prowler.

I think it was a great mix of classic and modern car design. Too bad the rest of the public thought it was ugly. Also, if I remember right, it was very expensive.

I like the new Thunderbirds:

They give a nod to the classic versions, without getting too weirdly retro.

Late 90’s Cadillac Seville STS.

The Jaguar XK8.

The Aston Martin DB7 Vantage.

nitpick

I just realized that that is not an STS in the photo, it’s an SLS.

This is an STS.

The 2005 Mustang

Chrysler 300C

The Ford GT

Sad to say, they’re rumored to be discontinued after 2005. The word is Ford is intentionally limiting production to “four or five” years to make them more collectible. Cite.

As for the OP, I really like the new Mini convertible.

Can’t get one in the States, so I must lust from afar:

Vauxhall VX220

The Chrysler Crossfire looks pretty sharp.

I like the Mazda 3.

I’m with Sharky, the Jaguar XK8 is drop dead gorgeous. It looks better as a hardtop than as a convertable, but I’ll take either one.

The 1996 Impala SS

For whatever reason I thing the Nissan Murano is a really neat and elegant design from an eye candy perspective. I have no idea about the interior or how it handles.

The 2005 Vette Convertable is damn sharp. http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/04images/05corvette_2.jpg

Another one in the choir for the Jaguar XK8. Thank gawd they finally figured out that the Jaguar should look distinctive, and not look like every other car on the road.

I find that the Sparrow has a kind of futuristic spac-pod look to it that I find irresistable.

I meant Space-pod. :smack:

I was going to say Mazda’s RX-8 but I’m having second thoughts about those strange rear doors, still they always look good on the road when I see one.

I am rather fond of my car.
