An episode of Parts Unknown I saw recently included some time with musician Mark Lanegan. I liked what I heard there, and I’m interested in more. Can anyone recommend a good album from his discography to start with?
I haven’t heard all his solo albums, but his first “Whiskey For The Holy Ghost” is a perfect start IMHO. It’s got everything that defines his style and some great songs too. Great album.
Correction: it was his second solo effort.
