ahh, December, My old nemesis. I had many arguments with him on my old name Futureman I used that one from February to May of 2003 but for some reason it doesn’t work after a period of inactivity. Oh well, no problem. This is truely a great forum, and you will realize that it’s impossible to keep up with all that is going on here at SDMB if you have a normal life. It takes a lot of time, because if you are like the rest of us, there is always something new that you can contribute to a thread. And that’s the great thing about SDMB.
BTW, I’ve taken a one year hiatus, almost. I noticed that the right-wing idiocy in the SDMB seems to have died down quite a bit? Is it just because december is gone?

Despite that flaw, I have to agree with everyone. This is the best message board that I’ve run across.
Oh for sure, it drove me crazy a few times, especially since I’m fairly opinionated. But two years ago I was 16 and I think I was wise not to post then because I was largely all fire and no logic. I didn’t actually lurk for two years straight, I just found this place a couple of years ago and visited on and off.
Some people are all fire and no logic at ages much older than yours young one.

My little offhand comment earlier was left because I couldn’t stand to see “michael moore” and “vote democrat” in the same post. I think that’s probably offensive to most democrats as well. I said “vote republican” because, though I’m not personally a republican, I am a right leaning libertarian.
