Thumbs up for this thread as I think “Metallica instrumental” pretty much exactly equals my favorite type of music. So I was never too crazy about Orion actually. My ranking is:
Ktulu
To Live is To Die
Suicide and Redemption
Orion
Anesthesia
Of course, this doesn’t mean I think the ones at the bottom are anything less than brilliant, just that I like the higher ones more.
Personally I think Ktulu is by far their best. Maybe it’s because it was co-written by Dave Mustaine…
I go with Ktulu because I LOVE LOVE LOVE it on the S and M CD.
