Best Name for a Sports Venue(Past or Present)

Haven’t thought about it to much but this one popped into my head while watching the golf tourney.

The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews.

Official names only, nicknames of sports venues can be another thread.

The Colosseum. The original and best, widely imitated, never duplicated.

Old Trafford. It’s just so stately (I mean the cricket grounds, more than the football stadium…)

The Palestra in Philadelphia.

The football venue at the University of Chicago had its charms:

Marshall Field.

Not the official name, but the Igloo in Pittsburgh was great.

When the Flames first moved to Calgary they played in the old Stampede Corral. They were waiting for the completion of the Olympic Saddledome, which is now named after some bank.
