I have an IBM T42 thinkpad laptop with a fried inverter card. I know how to replace it, but what I don’t know is a good source for laptop parts, as I’ve never had to buy any before.
What site would you suggest?

There’s tons of people gutting old laptops on there for parts. I bought new motherboard off of Ebay for my Fujitsu Notebook, and it was cheap enough to make it worthwhile to replace!
