Can You Reccomend A PC Parts Vendor?

I need to replace an LCD/WebCam cable on an HP notebook. When I enter the part number in a seach engine, I get pages of replies with prices ranging from under 10.00USD to over 200.00. I have never heard of many of these sites. Can anyone reccomend a reputable, lower priced site for parts?
Thanks, F.

NewEgg.com I’ve bought from them since 2003 and had a good experience. Option 2 is from Ebay - I only use sellers with good ratings and feedback.

NewEgg is very good for stuff like that.

Thanks, I checked out Newegg. Looks promising.

wait, you’re looking for something like an internal ribbon cable? Newegg usually doesn’t deal in repair parts.

NewEgg and Tiger Direct are both good if you want a tech “platform” to shop in, but if you know what you want, Amazon is often cheaper and ships faster. The annoying in-between is TheNerds.net, which has a messy, complicated structure but truly rock-bottom prices on about one item in three.

Another vote for Newegg.

yup, can’t go wrong with newegg.

[Computer shop owner hat on]

Newegg probably won’t have what he is looking for.

Amazon or ebay are your best bets, ebay might be cheaper but amazon will probably be faster.

If you have amazon prime, and are ordering alot of computer cases, it rocks. Several wholesalers like ASI and such will often charge $8-$12 each to ship cases. I cover my prime membership about 10x over just in cases.
