Ok, dopers, I need your collective experience. What, in your opinion, is the best-tasting readily-available decaf coffee? I am looking for a darker roast, preferably under $10 a pound.
Thanks in advance!

We like Folgers Gourmet Supreme. Don’t know if that’s high class enough for ya, but there ya go.
About 10 years ago IIRC, Consumer Reports did a taste test, and came to the conclusion that Taster’s Choice scored the highest.
But isn’t Taster’s Choice strictly instant? I think the OP is wanting decaffeinated bean coffee, ground or whole unspecified.
On that subject, I got nuthin’ – If I drink coffee, I want the kick.
The recommendation is actually for my niece, who is a nursing mom, which is why the no kick.
Actually, call me a heathen if you must, but Starbuck’s house blend decaf tastes like coffee.
I had to give up the caffeine when breakthrough seizures became a serious problem last year. It was painful. PAINFUL. I’m not usually a fan of Starbuck’s coffees because they have a tendency to overroast and burn their coffee beans… but this one turned out to actually taste like the real stuff, so I’ve stuck with it. My caffeine addicted friends have actually been fooled more than once (and yes, I’ve told them after the fact. They were pleased!)
