Best Week Ever: Franteena Dulee?

The “Who’s having the best week ever” segment on the Best Week Ever episode that aired this afternoon (4/4/05) seemed to be some kind of joke. It “featured” someone named “Franteena Dulee” and credited her with:

-Having a show called “Just Bloggin’” which beat Desperate Housewives in the ratings
-Being famous in Japan for being able to crack open an egg with one hand
-Starring in the movie “Beauty Shop”
-Being the spokesperson for a butter substitute called “Un-Butter”, slogan, “The U.N. of butters.”

In every clip they showed of her, she got coffee thrown into her face.

It was all obviously made up, but I was wondering, was it a joke based on something or other which might have made it all make sense? Or was it just random nonsense?

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering myself. I would even have googled, except that I forgot her name as soon as the show ended. :wink:

Me too! Maybe they made her up completely.

Maybe the show originally aired on April 1st and it was some sort of April Fool prank?

Yes, obviously an April Fool’s joke (that’s why I threw in the wink smilie), but like Frylock I distinctly got the feeling that it was a joke based on someone that we should recognize. Or that the actress who played the part should be known. Or the throwing coffee in the face meant something. It wasn’t purely random, IOW.
