Best Will & Grace guest star?

Now that we are at the end, let’s look back at Will & Grace’s stunt casting.

I concede that the show got a lot of criticism for seemingly relying on guest casting for a (hopeful) ratings punch, but what the hey.

My nominee is Val, mainly because I like crazy folk and Molly is a kick. Plus I loved the catfights. My second fav was Scott Wooley. I also loved that little southern guy who played Karen’s foil so often, Beverly Leslie.

Who would you nominate for Best Supporting Guest Star? Alternatively, who was the Worst Supporting Guest Star?
J Lo and Janet Jackson were so stiff, my least favorites!

I don’t suppose I should be voting since I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an entire episode, but I was very entertained with Kevin Bacon’s appearance.

I am a huge fan of the show, and I have to agree. Seeing Kevin Bacon & Will dancing to “Footloose” was one of the funniest things I have seen.

I’d have to say Woody Harrelson. Not because of his character or his acting, but only because he was just delicious eye candy. And Kevin Bacon too.

I’ll go with Mira Sorvino. Her guest spot, in which Grace discovers that her husband Leo’s ex-girlfriend is the only woman Will ever slept with, and consequently becomes jealous of her because of the latter rendezvous rather than the former, was hiliarious. Particularly when Karen started trying to get her drunk so that she could get her into bed.

I also nominate Jeff Goldblum as Scott Wooly. Note perfect.

Aaargh! Molly Shannon = yuck! Aaargh!

I’ve often said that W & G is the best when it comes to guest stars. It’s hard for me to pin down my favorite, but I agree the one with Kevin Bacon was awesome. Matt Damon did a great job playing a straight guy trying to get a spot in the gay men’s choir. The episode with Cher(where Jack carries his Cher doll everywhere)always make me laugh, not so much because of her performance, but Jack’s imitation of her “if I could turn back tiiiiiiime.” But the one that never fails to make me laugh out loud is when **Michael Douglas ** plays the gay detective. Just watching him dance makes me bust out every time :stuck_out_tongue:

It definitely has to be Leslie Jordan, in my opinion. Any show that employs “Brother Boy” is fine by me…
