There’s still time. The first two episodes were one night apart, making it basically a two partner premier, which this thread can be about. We can start creating separate discussion threads for each subsequent episode.
I think that works better for shows that generate a lot of discussion. If your show is going to generate 7 comments per episode, a season thread is appropriate enough, but if you’re going to generate 50+ comments per thread, it gets pretty clunky to have multiple episodes being discussed at once, people who are behind the times coming into the thread to talk about the start of the season, etc.
So I’m going to try starting episodic threads, starting with Episode 1.03 “Nacho” premiering tomorrow night, and hopefully we can consider this one a premier thread and bring the discussions about this week’s episode over to that one.

Excellent idea. And I second LawMonkey’s suggestion about a change to the thread name.
Yeah, the truck going the right direction was a bit of a stretch but I can forgive it.
The mistake regarding the car models is entirely understandable. They were sitting maybe a block away looking at the car in the driveway when Saul pointed it out to them. I wouldn’t expect them to be auto experts that know every model on sight. The car they followed had more than a superficial resemblance to the one they were supposed to follow.
When Saul saw the car in the driveway, he saw a similar model with a broken windshield and skateboards in the driveway. He was anxious and had a lot on his mind at that point and came to what seemed like an obvious conclusion which didn’t require further thought. Completely understandable.
The supposed “coincidence” of running into Tuco just isn’t a coincidence, as I pointed out earlier.
I suppose it’s possible, but I’d hate to be the one trying to do it. Talk about a frantic scramble! They’d end up with broken legs before they even met Tuco.
I think it would be a mistake to watch this first. Catch up on BB, and keep this on your DVR in the meantime. I know the producers, who have a financial incentive, are insisting otherwise, but I see no evidence that they are attempting to write these scripts with an eye to being open to new viewers. I’m not sure how they would even try: scour the countryside for these kinds of viewers (sort of like trying to seat a jury that hasn’t heard about a sensational news event) and then make them into a focus group to give feedback at every stage of development of an episode?
And assuming you have Netflix:
(1) This show is quite good, but not nearly the masterpiece Breaking Bad is;
(2) This show will be better when you have seen Breaking Bad first;
(3) Though this one is unknowable and perhaps controversial, I strongly suspect Breaking Bad itself is better if you don’t watch this first.
Relatedly, are we supposed to avoid BB “spoilers” when discussing BCS? I hope not. I’m a big stickler about spoilers in other cases but it seems so inapt here.
My wife preempted the door hitting me. She watches the episode and then deletes it from the DVR. I do the same with NOVA to her, so I guess we’re even?
