Has anyone else gotten this email? It goes on to say:

“f you purchased a YouTube TV or DirecTV Stream subscription from April 1, 2019, through March 31, 2026, you may be entitled to a cash payment from a class action settlement.”

It doesn’t look scammy but I am just wondering if it’s worth the trouble to pursue (and maybe have to give out personal info to do so).

Yes, I received the same email, and it doesn’t seem scammy on a cursory look. But I generally don’t join such class actions; it’s not that I’m against them, I just don’t think they’re worth my effort.

Class Action Lawsuit - got paid!

One of the minor annoyances of the modern age is the occassional small print postcard in the mail informing one that they are eligible to be included in a class action lawsuit. Trying to read what is in dispute often seems like some cranky-pants read the fine print on their cell phone contract and found an “AHA!” and is going to MAKE THEM PAY! I file it under, OK, whatever.
