Biden v Trump: June 27 debate (Live debate comment here)

I’m let down thinking of all the billions upon billions of support dollars both the Rs and Ds have, here’s the presidential candidates.

Problem for me is, the president position hardly matters as to what the parties will do when in power.

Drugs are good if that’s what perked him up for the SOTU Address. But his prepping needed to be based on his strengths which is not 90 minutes of talking points without crib notes.

Biden at least said something about child care.

Biden is laughing at him for bragging on his Poll numbers and saying he is the top president ever.

“None of the Above” would fix this. Put the Speaker of the House in the White house and have another election.

Quite so – enables him to maintain the discipline, as mentioned before, never mind the question, hammer on the talking points. Then time is called and the wandering is prevented.

Which works into my theory in the making – the crowd feedback at rallies overstimulates him and, with no limit on time or mic access, he can’t help just taking off on random word jazz. As octopus points out, he has a discipline problem.

“What will you do to help Americans in the throes of addiction?”

“DEFICIT! MIGRANTS! JYNA!”

I’m on Beer Number 4.

It’s all of Trump’s superlatives (worst, best, etc.) and “Nobody’s ever ___”.

My own drinking game, I guess.

Sorry, I stated that badly - the fact that the Trump campaign was putting out so many accusations that Biden would be on drugs means that they definitely pumped Trump full of drugs, since he always accuses people of what he’s doing. I don’t know how Trump managed to pull it together for this because he has been all over the place and confused and demented at his rallies over the last few months. I thought drugs were not enough of an explanation because Trump routinely uses amphetamines anyway.

Trump is lying outrageously, as I expected.
But I’m worried about the impression that Biden’s voice may give.
Subjectives count.

I think people overestimated trumps incoherence by watching too many of his rallies where he gets overexcited by his crowd and his narcissism.

At the end of the day it’s Biden job to call bullshit on Trump in real time. He is not able to do it.

It’s not the moderators job, or next day fact checkers. These are basic obvious lies going unchecked.

Well … if Trump is right in all that he’s said, very little matters … because we’re all gonna’ die.

I wish I’d had the foresight to drink whenever Trump uses a superlative. But there’s always next debate.

About drug addiction.

Trump: “Mexico, Putin, some reporter in jail in Russia.”

Trump is losing it a bit now, rambling and not keeping on track with the questions.

Trump is starting to lose his train a bit. There are no questions, what ever they ask, go with migrants, destroyed cities, trafficking.

I’m actually sitting here thinking, hm, Dukakis could’ve done better debatewise than Biden.

He’s got a pretty simple formula.

“What would you do on [issue]?”

“At the end of my presidency, the [issue] was the best it’s ever been. No one has ever seen it that good. It was perfect. He just had to leave it alone. But he had to ruin it. Now it’s the worst it’s ever been”

It’s a little more incoherent than that but it actually hurts me to write in a more Trump-like way.

It’s not too late to start in this debate.

Just sayin’, is all.
