I truly don’t understand what point you’re trying to make. There is no contradiction in the advantage and ease of a teleprompter and feeding Biden some zingers as part of his preparation for the rally.
Thanks for the clarification re: who would replace him and in which conditions.
I wasn’t referring to the stutter, which I was aware of, but the fact that for example even during the debate on a couple occasions he seemed to lose the logical train of thoughts, and Trump clearly took advantage of that with his sarcastic comments.
He wasn’t stuttering in the debate. He rambled in a confused manner to a point he didn’t make any sense. That’s the whole issue. You were responding to someone who watched it from on outsider’s perspective and that matches what mainstream media favorable to Biden are saying.
Yep, in the Debate Biden wasnt in good form. But you stated
And other than the fake ones the MAGA one make, there are none.
Is there any evidence that those videos are fake? These days it’s pretty difficult to tell fake videos apart with Sora and similar services!
BTW just to give a sense to my questions, I am not really criticizing Biden. I actually wish he was in a better shape and between him and Grumpy I would definitely vote for Biden if I were a US citizen.
As a proud American I just want to thank Jesus that soon we will have a REAL President that has never rambled in a confused manner to a point he didn’t make any sense God, Emperor, President for Life, Donald J Trump.
Figure I should start practicing my genuflectin’.
Go to Politifact.
They don’t need to literally fake anything.
Here’s what some folks want you to believe.
‘Look at crazy Joe! He’s giving thumbs-up to imaginary people!’,
and here’s reality,
I see, lack of context can make a big difference indeed. It’s sad that they use these tactics to convince the public when they don’t have better arguments.
Is this a fake one: Mistaking Egypt and Mexico?
Another cite of it from The Hill.
Washington Post - Biden says he took photo with congresswoman in North Carolina before realizing she wasn’t there.
President Biden looked into the audience at an event in North Carolina Thursday searching for Rep. Deborah Ross, saying he had just posed for a picture with her before realizing the lawmaker was back in Washington and he’d taken a photo with someone else.
“Where’s Deborah?” Mr. Biden said, scanning the audience for the North Carolina Democrat.
“I just had my picture taken with her. That’s probably why she left,” he joked, appearing confused by her absence and continuing to look for her.
“Oh, she couldn’t be here, actually. That’s not true. I got her mixed up,” Mr. Biden. “You know, she fights very hard for the people of this district and she’s up in Washington right now.”
It’s likely he saw her name on his crib notes and was just supposed to give her a shout-out. These are the things that get little notice in main-stream news so it goes unseen. He mentally struggles to talk and it’s not stuttering. It’s confusion.
And the video shows the focus of the G7 Group which was a different jumper who was set up in front of the camera.
MMM hmmm. And that situation might take how long to get resolved? In a situation where seconds and minutes are critical, I’d rather not have to wait. Such a scenario may not happen in our lifetimes, but it might.
There is no human in existence who can be alert 24/7. When seconds count, you nevertheless have a one in three chance that the key person is asleep.
I don’t know enough about age-related cognitive decline to know how fast people can recover (my limited experience suggests some rest helps, which takes time). Still, if it’s clear enough that the president is not up to making decisions, he would be passed over in favour of the VP.
I agree with all in the last post.
I prefer a weak President who is good at making appointments, as I believe Biden will remain. Unfortunately, voters have been taught, by catchphrases used in countless campaign ads, that their elected supremo should be a “strong leader” and a “fighter,” and most believe that.
Lloyd Doggett. US House of Representatives. Texas.
As of today, not when you were making your claim. But nice try.
I cited news sources that stated anonymous sources. You were free to challenge the legitimacy of those sources at that time. It’s political suicide to attack your own party’s president. Lloyd Doggett is stepping on a land mine doing this.
You were unable to name 1 Democratic office holder who was calling for Biden to step aside at the time you made the claim there were. Because there is now such a person 3 days later doesn’t change that fact.
I was able to cite news sources at the time who said there were. You’re not even trying to discuss the issue.
The cite I gave stands. You didn’t challenge the news source but now your trying to make some kind of argument point that I didn’t provide a source that it was happening. It’s now gone from anonymous sources to an open source asking that he should not run for another term.
But you can’t address that so you’re trying to turn it back on me. I’m not the news source but I did provide a cite.
did anyone share the John Steward video about the debate? I can’t - not sure why, other embedding seems to work - anyway I am just now watching it and it’s brilliant.
