The lack of Melania was noticed by the CNN crew when Trump’s aircraft landed—that he had no family members with him. They showed him leaving the aircraft, going down the stairs, waving at the crowds, then getting into his car, and the motorcade leaving. No Melania, nor any other family members.
His niece Mary Trump, however, is in the “spin room” with all the media. She’s already been interviewed by CNN; undoubtedly, there will be more as events unfold.
I’m imagining a merry-go-round to entertain people as they wait.

Made me laugh with that one. The “room” part is a bad choice of word; it sounds like something you’d have in your house. Actually, it’s in Georgia Tech’s (I think it’s GT’s) basketball arena. So, technically it is a room, just a really big one though.

Headline is too optimistic as to what is possible. No one will trounce anyone except in the eyes of their pre-existing supporters. Plus, many questions will not lend themselves to the suggested approach. But I agree with the strategy.
