Now, we never had Big Boy chains in Canada, but on a family trip to SC when I was a little kid (mid-70s) there was a parade with a Big Boy float that tossed little plastic toys to either side of the road. (I have no idea what the parade was actually for, I just remember the giant Big Boy mascot on the float and the toys being tossed willy nilly) I got a big white-and-shiny-red-embossed plastic Big Boy ring. It’s close to the only thing I remember about that trip.
Looks like he’s resurfaced in Japan, and he’s proud of his … uh … accomplishments.
