I don’t know. I was too preoccupied with thinking about how I wanted to put it on Frank’s head.
They pretty much go out of their minds with boredom in the BB “house”. I’ve seen them do much worse things with great enthusiasm just because it was something DIFFERENT than sitting around and talking game.
So what’s with tonight’s double eviction? Do they plan on bringing someone back into the house, or have the producers decided to pull the plug on this season’s steamy pile a week earlier? I’m having trouble getting behind anyone this season. Maybe the dingy blonde spray tan artist, but she’s probably too busy looking for the hidden immunity idol to realize what’s happening in the game.
There are only five weeks left with eight houseguests surviving this week. So this double eviction leaves them with still one too many houseguests, meaning we should get another double eviction after this one just to get down to three before the finale. Something like:
Aug 23rd go down to 8
Aug 30th go down to 7
Sep 6th go down to 6
Sep 13th double evic down to 4
Sep 20th go down to 3
Sept 26th finale
My TW DVR is crapping out so I missed most of the Wednesday night airing. I did catch the veto ceremony live. I’m watching the whole show online now. WOW… Shane is floundering… He made the big move and he doesn’t have the balls to own up to it. His move should have been to appeal to Boogie and Frank’s sense of game. He should have said, “Yes, I decided that you guys were too strong and it was in my best interest in the game to try and get one of you out now. Nothing personal.” Oh, and go Ian!
Thursday’s double eviction comments -
Spoiler didn’t work. Will post comment later.
I’m not a huge Brittany fan, but that goodbye message was absolutely hilarious. Ian’s was really good, too.
I was in stitches tonight. From Britney and Ian’s goodbye message to the last second pleas.
“I am not that articulate”
I don’t understand sign language but I knew exactly what the sign language was. Boot her and Keep me.
Oh man, Frank hangs in there by the skin of his teeth. Shane had found both of his marks before running the first one back, so if Frank hadn’t found his second one when he did Shane would have gotten the veto.
Agreed. I think Boogie had actual respect for Ian after that message. Joe’s save “speech” was classic.
Last night was awesome, with the exception of Frank winning the veto and still being there. I just really hope he does not win HOH.
Frank really does have nine lives. Did he realize he was talking to himself a lot at the end of the show and that nobody cared?
It was nice to see Jenn actually play the game a little.
Ian’s speech was great.
But my favorite line of the night: “I’m not able to express myself as well as other peoples.”
Just went and found out who won HOH last night. It will be an interesting week.
Oh, god-freakin’-damn…cockroaches are more mortal than him…
Sorry…had a reaction to something that I realized would pretty much be a spoiler even though I didn’t mention any names.
Just saw a CBS ad for Big Brother last night touting the upcoming Pandora’s Box.
Shane said it right Thursday night on BBAD, Frank wins two comps and now he gets a power so he’ll be impossible to get out.
First Grodner saves him by throwing out the vote that he was clearly being evicted by, and now she gets to give him a power. She must need to put a towel down before she sits.
I also saw an ad for the Survivor premiere on the 19th, so it doesn’t go to the 26th like I previously though. That means not only do we still get another double eviction, but we also go into the final week with 4 people left and one gets booted on Tuesday to make it 3 for finale night Wednesday.
Has anyone ever had a BB season like this guy?
Rachel Reilly is the closest I can think of, but I didn’t see the earlier seasons.
It’s worth remembering that Frank is only in there because Grodner threw out Shane’s first HoH completely, and for no real reason. Coaches entering the game meant that there were way too many people, so to nullify that eviction and essentially add five people into the game in week 4 was ridiculous.
Evel Dick was really good at winning challenges. It also helped that he had America’s Player on his side. There were a couple of times when the HGs were all set to throw him out, but America’s Vote was just enough to save him.
I don’t recall anyone ever being on the block as much as Frank and surviving. Plus winning HOH after coming off the block.
Yeah, Frank’s a beast. I think I’d like him if he hadn’t been aligned with Boogie (not Frank’s fault, it was a good move) and all the marching around yelling.
I don’t know who I’m rooting for, I’m just happy that there are several people I kind of like left. Usually by this time, I hate everyone.
