Big Brother 3/5/08 [open spoilers]

Agreed. But Josh would have been too obvious. James has already made an enemy of Matt by calling him out on his double-dealing, and I don’t think Josh’s crew feels particularly close to him. Plus, it has the potential of causing a rift in the Josh alliance–who do they vote out? I doubt that Chelsia will be so quick to get rid of James, and she’ll try to campaign for him. Great strategic move on Ryan’s part.

I have to wonder if Ryan trading the unitard for Sheila’s 10G’s will come back to bite him, though. Pretty shitty thing to do, if you ask me. He could have traded it for Sharon’s “slop pass” and been assured of another ally in the house. Sheila is very good at holding grudges–once she gets what she wants out of her deal with Ryan, look for her to move against him.

Good week so far–the game is finally getting interesting.

REALLY don’t like Matt. Mostly because of the way he treats Natalie.

When the HOH competition started, James sounded like he was holding a grudge about being voted out…

Also don’t like the way Sheila whines. She will be gone soon I think. Her manipulations won’t go unnoticed, and she is playing both sides, only a little under the radar.

Adam is really uninteresting.

Could someone spoiler the results of the HOH competition, pls?

James won it.

Hee!

Who do you think will go up on the block? Other than Matt?

I’m guessing it’s going to be

most likely Ryan, possibly Natalie, since she’s almost certainly a vote to keep Matt.

Is anyone other than us reading this thread? And if so, do those people need us to be using spoilers?

Just in case those are both “yeses,”:
I thought about that – but would he want to risk not getting rid of Matt that way? Might it not be better to do a “safe” alternative – or is there a “no one will vote for X” possibilitily left at this point? The harmless, charmless Adam, perhaps?

Or is it better to do Matt and Ryan, and make sure that one of them – barring some veto move – is gone?
I’m so appalled that I’m so into this show …

Yes, I am reading this thread. No, I don’t care whether information about future episodes goes in spoiler boxes or not, as I am reasonably likely to not watch any given future episode*.

But I was kind of disappointed in the outcome of the “the devil you know or the devil you don’t know” vote. Somehow, returning the newest evictee seemed anti-climatic. Not that I really cared which person got the chance to return, since I didn’t remember seeing half of them before.

*My level of interest in this show is such that I turn my TV on to the proper channel at the proper time, but if I see a blue screen or hear excessive static, I can’t usually be bothered to go fuss with the antenna. My number one reason I sometimes wish I didn’t live alone–so I could make someone else fuss with the antenna.
