Oh and the principal was hilarious.

I enjoyed this show so much and I’m wondering how much time will need to pass before I’ve forgotten enough of it so I can watch it again. Obviously I won’t forget the ending or the answers to the big questions, but just to revisit their little corner of the world and watch all the great performances.
I haven’t watched the second season yet. Sounds like it’s worth it???
I love Lianne Moriarity’s books, although I hadn’t read Big, Little Lies before watching the show. As someone upthread said this genre normally wouldn’t have appealed to me, but I have thoroughly enjoyed all of her books that I’ve read.
It’s funny, I read the first one based on the plot description, but not knowing anything else. As I was reading, I was thinking…this is set in England?..No, it’s set in America??..Oh! It’s in Australia! The more of her books I’ve read it seems Australia is pop-culturally more aligned to the U.S. than the UK. Or maybe just in Lianne Moriarity’s world.
