The winner of last nights Power Ball drawing bought the winning ticket from the Auburn, Washington Fred Meyer store. That is the same store I bought a $50,000 winning Power Ball ticket 4 years ago. What makes me sad, I never made it to the store yesterday to buy a Power Ball ticket. Poop.
The gas station that sold that Mega Millions worth $2 billion is a couple of blocks away from where my husband lived when we first met in 1977. He lived in a house with a couple of other stoner buddies, and one of those stoners still lives there after all these years.
No one has come forth to claim that $2 billion yet, but we hope it’s the old stoner guy. Mr. brown said, “If he won it, maybe now he can afford to smoke something other than seeds and sticks.”
He’s probably frantically tearing his apartment apart trying to find where he lost the ticket.
Hey, isn’t that where our best buddy on the board, @Atamasama, lives? Have we told him lately how much we appreciate his generosity?
LOL, that is literally the store where I bought groceries on Sunday, but I don’t play the lottery, sorry.
Okay, got it, I won’t say a word!
(PM me if you want my Venmo info)
That’s where my sister does her grocery shopping. I’ll have to ask her if she can spare a million or two.
That was probably the night that he had used his last RAW rolling paper.
Well, the winner’s name will be announced today, although the winner won’t be in attendance. We’ll see if our guy is now the richest 75 year old stoner in history.
Heh, Mr. brown reminded me that the guy in question always used fake names back then in order to avoid the attention of the IRS. Not that he made much money - he was a member of a small but popular local band and was also a small-time underground comics artist.
