Big names hooking up with nobodies

The “Celebrities you know” thread brought to mind something I have often wondered about…

How many big name Hollywood type celebs have sucessfully hooked up with a plain Jane or John Doe from everyday walks of life? (can be past or present)

For example: Let’s say Brad Pitt picks up the waitress who served him coffee at a tiny restaurant in the middle of the boonies, while on location, and they stay together happily for many many many years.

IIRC, the only one that comes to mind offhand is Jerry Seinfield and Shosana Lonstein, which we know fell apart.

What I am looking for here are success stories, with people who are as far removed from Hollywood as can be, which lasted a significant amount of time, or indefinitely.

I’d love to hook up with Alyssa Milano, or Jennifer Love Hewitt droooool Sandra Bullock or Calista Flockhart.

Liz Taylor and Larry Fortensky.

JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette (Calvin Klein employee).
Okay, so he’s not Hollywood, but he was famous.

Chris O’Donnell and his wife (a kindergarten teacher, I think).
(But I think they met while he was an actor but before he was really famous.)

Mel Gibson’s wife is a nurse, but I think they’ve been married since before he was so famous, so I don’t know if that fits the OP. However, they’ve been married for six kids and I don’t know how many years, so there’s one success story.

Let’s see…

There’s Christian Slater and Ryan Haddon. I think she is some marketing director or something of that nature.

Then there’s Sharon Stone and Phil Bronstein, some guy that works in the newspaper industry.

As I recall, Stone’s husband is a rather powerful man in the newspaper business in San Francisco, so as far as money/power/cool party invitations, he probably doesn’t count.

Didn’t George CLooney hook up with a waitress for a while? I think it, too, fell apart recently.
