During the “Winte of our Missed Content” Tuba graciously set up an alternate board for us to play at until the SDMB was up and running again. On the alt board, there was a smiley called “Og” and it smashed stuff.

Ah yes, I remember the smashie smilie from the temp board. I didn’t know people were calling him “Og” though.

He wasn’t. He was referred to as “Smashie”, and we loved him.
As Protesilaus pointed out, Og was created from a typo by SeaHawk in the sentence:
SeaHawk would consistently misspell “of” as “og”. It was racinchikki that really took it and ran with the “Og smash” business. The crowning moment for Og was in Cthulu v. Og: The Battle of the Gods!. Poor little Timmy, we never knew thee.
