biggest temperature change

In the U.S. and then also the World, what day had the biggest temperature change (from highest to lowest and vice versa)?
I ask because Friday it was 75, and today it is 33.

Temperature falls

Temperature rises

Yesterday was nowhere near a record.

A 40-degree drop? I’ve seen that in Cleveland in the space of two hours.

I remember the last week in May 2001, it had gotten to 70 degrees by 2 pm here in Denver. By 3 pm it was snowing and everything Froze. There were tornado warnings just before the snow fell and as the snow was falling there was thunder and lightning.

All of this is not uncommon here in Denver either.

A 49 degree rise in 2 minutes?? All of the record drops and rises are out in Big Sky/Dakota country, it looks like. But that record rise is something of biblical proportions.

This winter we had about a 50C temperature change inside 48 hours.

We from about +10 to -40.
