I was afraid this would involve the Hell’s Angels (a number of whom were recently indicted around here for extortion, murder and other pleasantries), and the fact that it does not makes me feel all the better. Not that my feelings have any bearing on the subject, but still. . . .
The only thing that I would quibble about in the article is that Mr Mayer sought to identify the motives and inner workings of those who died; and I don’t consider that necessary. I don’t know why they were where they were; but IMHO, at the very least they were fulfilling an oath taken—and that counts for a lot in my book.

I was really, really hoping that this would involve bikers violently attacking Phelps and his protestors. I’m almost dissapointed to see that it’s just a nonviolent counterdemonstration.
