Bikini car washes

Damn kids don’t appreciate the classics.

And get off my lawn!!

I have only let people wash my car for charity a few times in my entire life, and in those cases, the kids were wearing t-shirts and shorts, nothing that was particularly arousing.

The only time I have ever actually SEEN an actual charity car wash run by teenage girls in bikinis, I avoided it. I’d have felt like a perverted old lecher if I took part in it. Even if the charity in question was a worthy one, I’d rather just give them some money without them showing off any flesh.

Au contraire. I worked for two local papers, free-lance, at the time. I was not only the “news,” I was “featured articles.” This was before most news outlets had web sites of any substance, so I made my own. It was up to me where the content went.

…but you weren’t shooting for those newspapers when you asked to take their photo, were you? And even if you were: who cares? You asked, they said no. This happened years ago. Thats quite a long time to hold a grudge against jumpy girl.

Yes, I was. Did you read the part where I said I gave them my card?

…did you read the part where I said “even if you were: who cares?”

Why do you care?

You asked them if they would pose for a photo, they said no.

For most people in the world, thats the end of the story.

HOnestly, your attitude comes across as kind of creepy. Start and finish, they didn’t want their picture taken. Maybe they weren’t entirely comfortable being out there in bikinis in the first place, and your question raised their hackles. Who knows? Who cares? They made their decision, and then it’s up to you how much you respect it.

Then let’s make it the end of this one. I have video to process.

And he did respect it…

Didn’t fully understand it and got a little pissed maybe, but so what?
He is allowed to do that isn’t he?

Bottom line - he respected their decision.

What does it matter how he felt about it?

Sure he is, and I’m allowed to think it’s creepy, and you’re allowed to think that’s pointless, and I’m allowed to think that’s obvious, and on and on and on…

I’ve worked with some biker charity that does a bikini-motorcycle wash.

Typical biker. Gets all heated up over a motorcycle in a bikini.

It seems like it would be nice if they’d been OK with it, but in the grand scheme of things, are we any worse off because we don’t have photos of a bikini car wash? It’s like getting upset because, say, the organizers of a kitty cat fashion show wouldn’t let you take photos. Sure, it would have been quirky/whimsical, but of all the things that are being lost to history, does anyone really care?

Things are great;I have recently gotten a house, puppy and husband, in that order! I’ve always been lurking but just wasn’t posting.

Thirteen seems quite young for it to be totally cool for a grown man to interested in their “curves”, discretely or not. For the men who like looking at young girls, what makes a certain girl acceptable to check out versus not? I’m sure they wouldn’t think it OK to “find interesting” a toddler’s legs or butt like they would these 13 year olds. When a girl has at least an A cup and therefore has curves? On onset of first menses so she could have a baby?

It’s OK for men to find 13 year olds interesting to look at, they just can’t pay money so that they can do so? I mean, if there wasn’t some sort of benefit to having the girls in a bikini, a “13 year old boys in shorts” or “fully clothed car wash” seems like it would be an equal draw.

The usual answer is that girls become sexual acceptable (that’s not the right term, but you get the idea) once they reach puberty, regardless of at what age that happens.

I know you’re not necessarily answering for yourself, here. But I have to say, puberty for girls starts on average around 10, with most girls starting growing breasts before 10. Some by 8! It’s not that unusual to start menstruating as an 11 year old. So then it’s cool for grown men to “find interesting” 10 year old or earlier girls? That’s a fifth grader! I mean, is there any age where a girl could have “curves in all the right places” and it’s still not cool to be checking them out?

Oh, hell yes.
