Bikinis - immodest or not?

Does immodest mean awesome? If so, I think they’re extremely immodest.

I think she was wearing the G-String backwards.:o

Pretty much this, with the caveat that if you’re presenting it as swimwear, it should be secure enough to, you know, swim in. I also feel that you can’t attack someone and call them a pervert for taking your picture in swimwear that you claim is not meant to be sexy.

Same rules apply. Any time the cartoon “ooga ooga” sound can be applied, you’ve reached outside the bounds of politeness in your oogling - and there is no need for commentary to a stranger. But having once been a hot young 22 year old in a bikini - a doubletake happens all the time.

If my church is any indication, they are considered immodest in general. It’s just that girls at those ages are more likely to choose immodest clothing.

The new rule, BTW, is that everyone must wear a shirt. It applies to both genders.

Belly buttons are just apparently “teh sexy.” (Oddly enough, the taboo probably made some kids think they were.)

My girls wore one pieces until they were about twelve.

I don’t have a problem with bikinis, in fact that’s what I wear, but it just seemed wrong to have little girls so sexualized so young. This idea also applied to regular clothing.

The youngest is now 14, they are all wearing bikinis, and I could care less.

I think my problem was seeing so many little girls encouraged to wear inappropriate, sexualized clothing in general. It’s disconcerting to see six year old hootchie mamas.

They have the rest of their lives for that, let them be little kids.
